Story + Process
Malabas was born in 2025 with one clear mission: make modest fashion more accessible, affordable, and circular for girls who want to dress modestly without compromise.
At 24, founder Joud Al-lahham recognized a major gap in the market and built Malabas as a platform where girls who dress modestly can easily buy and resell pre-loved modest clothing.
After struggling to find modest pieces that were both affordable and high quality, Joud was tired of seeing the same styles everywhere, settling for poor-quality items, or overspending for basic modest wear.
With a background in both tech and fashion, she created Malabas to offer a better path: a sustainable and community-led marketplace that makes dressing modestly simpler, smarter, and more empowering.
We focus on making modest fashion easier to discover at different price points, so women can find styles they love without unnecessary barriers.
Malabas helps pre-loved pieces find new homes, reducing waste while extending the life of quality items in a practical and intentional way.
Every feature is shaped around the real needs of modest women, with a goal of creating a trusted, values-aligned space to buy, sell, and connect.
